That is a big rig, we did Yellowstone in a 31ft Pace Arrow.
Some of the roads within the park are quite narrow, but just take it slow – you do anyhow because your so busy gawking!

Most of the campgrounds within the NP are very basic, some even primitive! No KOA here!
Depending on which entrance you are using I’d recommend the Grant Village Campground (just north of the southern entrance). Handy to just leave your RV there while you discover the park in your 4WD.
It is a good one, basic (no hookups) but a dump station, toilets and laundry.
Grant Village is very close with stores, restaurants, pay showers, a coin laundry, and a sanitary dump station.
And you get to wake up to bison next to your RV.
    No bear restrictions either!!

Fishing Bridge Campground has hookups (it might be the only one within the park to have them).

Generators are allowed at several campgrounds, but only within certain time frames.
Mammoth Campground has elk roaming everywhere, very pretty there.

You’ll so love Yellowstone, it’s the loveliest most scenic place in the world.
Take your time, the entrance permit is for a week.

EDIT: I have found an informative site for you on the Campgrounds:

Do have a look at the other pages at the site it is full of great info.
